Solution to pooling problem on Carnlough Road
A pledge by Roads Service to resolve surface water pooling issues on a ‘fast and dangerous stretch’ of the Carnlough Road has been welcomed by DUP assemblyman, Paul Frew DUP
“Water was running into gardens at a very fast and dangerous stretch of the road,” Mr. Frew explained.
“I received a number of complaints from residents and road users regarding this serious problem and I’m glad that Road Service have agreed to insert 320 metres of pipe and nine gullies to relieve the concerns of residents on this section of road. This scheme will cost approx £15,000.”
