Something for all at First Ballyeaston

FIRST Ballyeaston Presbyterian Church is holding a series of special events this weekend under the theme 'Something For Everyone'.

Rev. Dr Stafford Carson, the Moderator of the Presbyterian Church in Ireland, will lead morning worship in First Ballyeaston on Sunday , February 14 at 11.30am.

His theme, 'Love is...', is appropriate for St Valentine's Day, and for Christians everywhere.

Rev. Carson will also speak at a Men's Breakfast the previous morning, Saturday, February 13, at Snob Logs Coffee Shop, Logwood Plant Centre, Bruslee. All those interested in attending this breakfast are asked to call Euel Agnew on: 028 9334 1361.

Jonny Farrell of Youth for Christ will host a Youth Night in the Church Lecture Hall at 8pm on Friday, February 12. Jonny will also lead a 'Young at Heart Service' in First Ballyeaston Church at 7pm on the evening of Sunday, February 14. Although the emphasis will be on Youth, this service is very much one for all ages.

First Ballyeaston's special events got under way last Thursday, February 4, in the Church Lecture Hall with a Ladies Evening led by Rev Mairisine Stanfield, the minister of First Presbyterian Church, Ballynahinch.

The evening focused on the theme 'A Life Worth Living'.

Rev. Eddie McDowell, the minister of First Ballyeaston said: "We are delighted to have these excellent speakers for our special weekend and would invite young and old to join us in this celebration of our faith. There is 'Something for Everyone' at First Ballyeaston."
