Somme calendar by Bushmills RBL

As a commemoration to those local men who gave their lives on the first day of the Somme battle, Bushmills branch of the RBL have produced a beautiful calendar for 2016 with the name and a short brief of each man.

The project was initiated by Billy McIntyre supported by Neil Salisbury and Glenda Rodgers McCormick.

Many businesses in the Bushmills area sponsored a particular page Billy and his team extend their warmest thanks to each one.

The calendar has been exceptionally well received so far sales are above all expectation, it would make a fine gift to send to family and friends at home or abroad.

All funds raised will go to support the work of the RBL charity.It is available from local shops and from any member of the Royal British Legion in Bushmills.
