Songs of Praise night at Loughbrickland

DUP Councillor Carla Lockhart and David Simpson MP have congratulated King Solomon's Rising Star R.B.P 402 on hosting a very successful evening of Praise in Loughbrickland Presbyterian Church.

The event took place on Sunday night with the Loughbrickland Presbyterian Church Choir leading the praise and the proceeds going towards the British 
Heart Foundation.

Speaking after the event Cllr Carla Lockhart said: “It was a great evening of fellowship with the Sir Knights and their families. It is always a pleasure to support local events and the collection was going to a very worthy cause in the form of the British Heart Foundation.

“Over 200,000 people across Northern Ireland suffer from coronary heart disease. The £600 raised will go to assisting in research and purchasing of defibrillators in the coming months.

“It was an excellent event and I would commend the organisers of it.”
