Sound fire advice for WI ladies
MAZE/BROOKFIELD: WI President, Barbara McClenahan, welcomed Brian Keenan, Commander, NI Fire and Rescue Service Lisburn to the June meeting.
Brian advised on all procedures everyone should take to be safe in their homes. He spoke of the necessity of having working smoke alarms and how people should have planned an escape route if a fire was to break out. After a very interesting talk and questions from the members, Freda McFarland thanked Brian.
Competition winners were 1st Hazel Law, 2nd Maureen Campbell, 3rd Sadie Ward. Birthday girl June Gordon.
