South West College recognised for Placement and Internship schemes
SOUTH West College was recently shortlisted in the ‘Best Public Sector Placement’ category at this year’s NCWE (National Council for Work Experience) Awards, which celebrates best practice in work experience provision.
Regarded as the biggest and most widely anticipated event in the work experience calendar, it gives employers the chance to be rewarded for the thought, time and effort they have dedicated to developing their placement and internship schemes.
During 2012/13, South West College offered a total of 32 internships across a varied range of departments at the College’s Cookstown, Dungannon, Enniskillen and Omagh Campuses and for the forthcoming 2013/14 academic year, the College is set to offer 28 internships to students and graduates.
