Spate of break-ins at Tamnamore Park and Ride facility
Motorists using the Park and Ride at Tamnamore have been warned to be vigilant following reports of thieves breaking into vans and stealing valuables.
Speaking about the incidents, SDLP Torrent Councillor Malachy Quinn said “I have received a number of disturbing reports about break-ins happening at the Park and Ride where a number of valuables and tools have been stolen.
“The tools especially were worth quite a bit of money and I want to warn anyone who parks there during the day to make sure that their vehicle is securely locked and that all valuables are out of sight. The facility is used by hundreds of people every day going to work but it’s important that people keep a look out and report anything suspicious to the PSNI.”
