What started out as a hobby for Peter has now really taken off, attracting interest from people at home and abroad.

Peter, who was left paralysed from the waist down after a freak accident in 2009, told the Times: “I have always been interested in photography, and this all started out as a bit of fun.

“But when I started uploading some of the drone footage online, people responded to it really positively.

“I have been getting requests from people, both locally and overseas, who want a copy for themselves.

“That is when I realised that there is a market for this kind of thing, as not too many people are doing it at present.”

Peter has now released a DVD featuring aerial shots of Glenarm Castle, the Walled Gardens and the village itself.

The stunning footage is backed up with music provided by local singer/songwriter Ben Glover.

Glenarm man Shaun Linton was also involved in the production, providing ground-level footage to accompany the aerial shots.

“We are very pleased with how the DVD turned out,” Peter added.

“It really showcases the natural beauty of Glenarm and the surrounding area, and gives people a renewed sense of appreciation for our stunning local scenery.”

The DVD is priced at £10 and is available to purchase now from a number of local shops, and also at Glenarm Tourist Information Centre.

Peter now intends to keep his head planted firmly in the clouds in a bid to capture more breathtaking images of Northern Ireland’s picturesque landscape.

“This hobby is a great outlet for me as its gets me out and about,” he added.

“It is great fun and people really seem to enjoy the finished product.”
