Speeder caught on the A1 carriageway
A 30-year-old woman was fined £100 last Thursday at Banbridge Magistrates Court for a speeding offence.
Ursula McParland, Gowandale drive, Banbridge, was also given three points and ordered to pay a £15 offender’s levy. The court heard she detected travelling at 77mph in a 60mph zone on the A1 on October 9 this year.
The defendant did not appear in court and was convicted in her absence.
