Speeding on way to work
A Lurgan man was fined £90 last Wednesday at Craigavon Magistrates Court for a speeding offence.
Twenty three year old John Lee Dowey, Merrion Drive, Lurgan, was also given three penalty points and ordered to pay a £15 offender’s levy.
The court heard that at 7am he was detected driving at 44mph in a 30mph zone at Sloan Street in Lurgan.
A solicitor for the defendant said he was on his way to work.
