The house captains of Central Primary School organised a Spelling Bee for children in key stage two.

They decorated the hall and helped teachers to plan the event during which participants were asked spellings based on the topic of their house.

The school’s house system is based on famous people who have had an influence in the town.

The winning house was De Lacy and the winner earned 10 points for her house.

Primary one-four pupils are currently working on a colouring competition, again with a house system theme.
