Spinning around for charity in Crumlin

Some spin-a-thoners got on their bike who took part in a gruelling seven hour spinathon at Revolution Indoor Cycling in Crumlin on Saturday. All proceeds will go towards the Brain Tumour charity.

Ballinderry girl Danielle McGriskin (17), reached an amazing target of 100k thanks to local business and the wider community.

She is an ambassador for the Brain Tumour charity and suffers from a brain tumour and hydrocepalus. She has had over 20 operations and completed radiotherapy in January in Bristol. The money she raises goes into vital brain tumour research and supports HeadSmart.She is trying to raise awareness of brain tumours in NI and recently Edwin Poots has invited her to speak at Stormont in October.
