Splashing into summer

YOUNG people from across the borough dived into a week of fun and learning last week at Craigavon Leisure Centre's Summer Splash programme.

The action-packed programme offered young people the opportunity to participate in a wide range of fun and educational water based activities. Young swimmers learned how to become more water-wise by learning lifesaving techniques and participating in water survival training.

Stuart England, Craigavon Leisure Centre Manager, commented: “The Summer Splash programme provided a great opportunity for young people across Craigavon to get active, learn new skills, meet new friends and more importantly learn how to become more water wise.
