Sponsored walk for charity
ABF The Soldiers’ Charity will hold a sponsored walk on Saturday March 21 from Shaw’s Bridge to the Blue Bridge near Lisburn Island Centre.
The walk, over 8 miles, is designed to raise the profile of the charity and raise money for soldiers, ex-soldiers and their families. It will commence at 10am from Shaw’s Bridge. Sponsor forms can be obtained by contacting the ABF on [email protected] or by calling 02892 678112.
Those who cannot attend can donate by texting ARMY NI to 70004 which donates £3, or go to www.justgiving.com/ABFNI-forward and donate a sum of their choice. ABF is to campaign for soldiers’ welfare during its first Forward March Appeal this month
