Sponsorship for roundabouts
The Operations Committee have agreed to extend sponsorship of a number of the borough's roundabouts free of charge until the end of March.
This decision was made after a number of the roundabouts were not maintained for six months following new regulations. Council was unable to maintain some roundabouts as normal as full lane closures or specialist vehicles would have been required to comply with new regulations.
The roundabouts include Antrim Hospital North, Antrim Hospital South, Hazelbank (M5-Shore Road) and Whiteabbey.
