Spook-tacular fun events planned for Ballycastle

Don’t miss the Hallowe’en parade in Ballycastle this year!

Everyone is welcome to come along and join in. There will be prizes for best home-made fancy dress costumes, fireworks, live DJ, parade floats, pirate ship, giant witch, stilts and more on Saturday 31 October.

If you want to take part in

the fancy dress parade please come along at 7pm to the Halloween Fancy Dress judging and start of parade at Dalriada Hospital Lower car park.

The parade will then make its way through the town to the seafront for the fireworks at 8pm.

There is still time to join in some of the arts pop-up workshops which take place in the half-term week on Saturday 24 October 2pm – 4pm in Cairns Allotments, Cairns Road, Cushendall;

on Saturday 31 October 11.12.30pm in Dundarave Play Area ( beside coach park), Bushmills

and on Saturday 31 October 3pm – 5pm , Altananam, Ballycastle.

All events organised by Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council Arts programme.

Ballycastle Rotary Club is also organising a zombie night walk in Ballycastle Diamond at 7pm on Halloween night with prizes for the most ghastly zombies.

All proceeds will go to Corrymeela.

Anyone who wants a zombie face painted can call in to The Base in Castle Street 2pm -4pm for face painting.

The zombies will join the parade in the Diamond on Saturday, 31st October.
