Spooky Goings On at V36!
Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council hosted an evening of freaky fun for all on Saturday night, as crowds of ghosts and ghouls, villains and vampires, witches and wizards gathered for Spooked Out at V36.
The Halloween festivities kicked off at 6pm with the Cool FM Roadshow, followed by lots of family fun and frolics! All the fun of the fair was there as well as the ghost stilt walking samba band! Many prizes were up for grabs, as Mayor, Councillor John Scott judged the best fancy dress.
Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey, Councillor John Scott commented: “I am delighted with the fantastic turn out this year for our second ‘Spooked Out at V36’. Everyone has made such an effort with their fancy dress, making the competition bigger than ever. V36 is a superb facility and I am delighted to see it being used to its full potential.”
The eventful evening came to a close at 8pm when the night sky was lit up with a fabulous fireworks finale.
