Sport heroes wanted
The Hughes Insurance Sports Volunteer Awards, an awards programme aimed at recognising and rewarding Northern Ireland’s unsung sporting heroes, is calling for the people of Lisburn to nominate sports volunteers in their area before the entry deadline on 1 April.
The awards are open to volunteers from all sports and aim to unearth the real sporting heroes throughout the province. The awards will run province-wide, focused through 12 branches of Hughes Insurance and each location will have a winner,. Decisions made by a sporting judging panel.
