Spotted shoplifting in Lisburn
On Wednesday afternoon (July 8), CCTV operators in Lisburn observed a known male enter a food store in the Bow Street area of the city centre.
The male was then seen to reemerge with a number of items under his coat which he had over his arm.
The store was contacted and using their CCTV system were able to confirm that the male had entered the store and placed items under his coat and leave the store without making any attempt to pay.
Police were informed and directed to the male who was stopped and arrested for theft.
