Spring clean for the UCF

THE Ulster Cancer Foundation (UCF), Northern Ireland’s leading local cancer charity, is encouraging people when spring cleaning to donate any unwanted goods to the UCF charity shop in Coleraine.

Whether you need more wardrobe space or want to get rid of any unwanted Christmas presents, UCF is reminding people to donate goods and help raise funds for charity. UCF welcome donations of clothing, accessories, books, CDs/DVDs, toys and knick-knacks.

Bernie Stewart, Coleraine Shop Manager, UCF said, “The economic recession has led to a dramatic increase in footfall at our shop in Coleraine and we need to continually re-stock our shelves with desirable bargains.

“Our shop offers a full range of goods at a fraction of their previous price but we need continued support from the local community to provide donations to help meet the high demand for goods. So when you’re spring cleaning please give a thought to those items in your home which you no longer need or have never used. Your donations will contribute to cancer services and help local people who have been affected by the disease.

“If you have never been to the UCF charity shop in Coleraine, drop in today and you will discover a high street gem!

“Whether you’re looking for vintage chic, retro trends, smart tailoring or a special gift – our charity shop has everything you need for your must-have collection.

“Our stock has a very quick turnover and we pride ourselves not only on the quality and range of our goods but also for the great value for money we offer customers.
