Spring has sprung in Banbridge

Spring has sprung, the birds are singing and the flowers are beginning to bloom just in time for the council to announce details of an ‘egg-stra’ special activity programme for all the family during the Easter holiday period.

Organised in conjunction with the Active Communities Programme, Banbridge District Arts Committee and Banbridge District Sports Association, the programme has been developed to enable individuals from across the district to take part in a wide variety of recreational activities.

Running from Wednesday 8 to Friday, April 10, over 170 individuals will be able to take part in this year’s programme. Among the sports courses on offer are angling, multi sports (which may include archery, football, gaelic games, volleyball, and racquet sports) and hip hop dance.
