Sprucefield developers submit further reports to planners

THE developers of the proposed John Lewis development at Sprucefield have submitted further environmental reports to accompany their long running planning application.

The news was revealed this week by the Department of the Environment.

It comes in the same week that Westfield, the company behind the Sprucefield scheme, announced they had sold their remaining interest in the Castlecourt shopping Centre in Belfast

The new information includes a report into ground condition at the site, which was not included in the original Environmental Impact Assessment.

The recently submitted information can be viewed online at www.planningni.gov.uk and copies may be obtained from the offices of Lisburn City Council or from Turley Associates in Belfast. Copies are free of charge.

Written representations should be addressed to the DOE Strategic Planning Division, Millennium House, 17-25 Great Victoria Street, Belfast, BT2 7BN within four weeks.
