St Brigid’s Golden Jubilee appeal

St Brigid’s PS Cloughmills is celebrating its Golden Jubilee this year, 2011.

And the occasion presents a fantastic occasion for everyone currently involved with the school, or anyone who has had association with it in the past.

St. Brigid’s has recognised this significant milestone in its life with a number of different events throughout the year.

The school would like to extend a warm invitation to all past pupils, staff and friends of St. Brigid’s to attend “A Night to Remember” on Friday October 21.

It is hoped that as many people who have attended or worked in the school over its 50 year history will be able to come. The school would like to use the evening as an opportunity for all past pupils and staff to visit the school, reminisce and share stories of their time there.

It is planned to have an open evening in the school from 6.00pm to allow people to revisit the classrooms and school building, followed by a celebratory Mass at 7.30pm in Sacred Heart Church, Cloughmills.

The evening will conclude with an archive display of photographs and light refreshments in the Cloughmills Community Hall.
