St. Colmanell’s parish summer fete
St. Colmanell’s Parish Church, Ahoghill will host the annual Summer Fete in the Church Field from 2pm – 5pm on Saturday 16th June.
This great community event has something for everyone. There will be entertainment from Billy McFarland and music throughout the afternoon with Willie McPeake spinning the discs. Games and treats for young and old will include bouncy castle, smash-a-bottle, penalty kicks, face-painting and lots more. Also, you can browse the stalls for some cakes, plants, bric-a-brac, home crafts and all the old favourites.
Special additions for 2012 will be the children’s Jubilee Treasure Hunt and bicycle slalom. Soak up the warm and friendly atmosphere, enjoy the BBQ and of course the wonderful cream teas.
