St James’s Presbyterian GB annual Parents’ Evening

This was held in the church hall and was well supported by parents and friends. The chairman for the the evening was Rev Hugh Cubitt and the special guest was Mrs Diane Taylor.

The programme included items from the various sesctions in the company. The Explorers had a good time with Lucy and Joe and Hands and Fingers rhymes. There was also singing, choral speaking (including the team who came second in the Northern Ireland finals) and more.

The Company section items included Take Me Out, Raise Me Up, dancing and marching. The finale was based on the Easter Message.

Captain Anne Walsh then called on Diane to hand over the awards and trophies to the girls. Rev Cubitt brought the evening to a close with the benediction.
