St Malachy’s kids get active for MS charity

ACTION MS has said thank you to the pupils of St Malachy’s Primary School, Coleraine who have raised £900 to support people with multiple sclerosis living in Northern Ireland.

The pupils took part in a Sponsored Health Programme, not only to get fit but to help those in need by supporting local charity, Action MS and Trocaire.

Commenting on their achievements, Ann Walker, Chief Executive of Action MS said: “I am delighted to have the opportunity to say thank you to the fantastic students of St Malachy’s Primary School, who have found time to think of others.

“Their efforts raised £900.00 which will support services for local people living with multiple sclerosis. We would also like to thank the parents and teachers for their support and generosity.

“The pupils have shown how well young people can work together and make a positive impact, not only in their own lives but in their community. I can only applaud their enthusiasm to get involved in this Health Programme and make such a difference.”
