They will also be planting seeds to signal the coming of spring before following St Patrick’s trail in search of the lost shamrocks and snakes. As this Sunday is Mother’s Day as well there will be an opportunity to make a present for all special mums out there.

The event will run from 2pm to 4pm and the cost is 3 per person. Booking is essential.

Conservation, Education and Activities Officer Andy Griggs is looking forward to the event.

“Our St Patrick’s event will not only be very enjoyable but also full of art and craft ideas based on St Patrick and the era in which he lived. This is about celebrating the history of St Patrick and the coming of spring as well as having some fun around the legend of the snakes. ”
