St Patrick's College holds assembly to honour victims of Polish Air Disaster
A SPECIAL assembly was held in St Patrick's College last week to mourn the victims of the Polish air disaster.
The moving service, held on April 21, was led by Fr. Mariusz Urbanowski.
A number of Polish students said prayers in Polish and English to honour the dead who included the President of Poland, Lech Kaczynski, his wife Maria, and dozens of other members of Poland’s leadership.
A spokesperson for the College said: “The thoughts of the whole school community are with our Polish students and their families during this difficult time”.
