The store owners has thanked their enthusiastic team of staff who have continuously fundraised since 2011 and who have supported them to help them reach their impressive total of £17,176.

All money raised has helped the charity provide practical, emotional and financial support as well as free short breaks to local families whose lives are affected by cancer.

Cancer Fund for Children fundraiser, Sorcha Chipperfield, who looks after the charity’s long-running partnership with Henderson’s, said that the money will go a long way to make a difference to the lives of some very ill children.

“Everyone at the charity is ecstatic that this one store has brought in so much money that will enable us to continue our vital work,” she said. “I would like to say a massive thank you to all of the staff and customers from EUROSPAR Lagmore for their fantastic fundraising.”
