Staff behind Altnagelvin 10k hit maternity DVD recognised

STAFF from Altnagelvin who created a maternity DVD that has already attracted 10k hits on an online broadcasting website were amongst those recognised at the Western Trust’s annual special staff awards ceremony.

Trust Chairman Gerard McGuckian said: “While careers in this sector are rewarding, they can also be challenging so it is important to take the time out to acknowledge what a tremendous job people are doing day in and day out.”

This year there were seven award categories and an overall Chairman’s Award. The Chairman’s Award was picked up by staff that led and were involved with the development and smooth transition of services to the new South West Acute Hospital, Enniskillen.
