Staff from Coca Cola show they Love the Lough
EMPLOYEES from Public Affairs and Communications joined Tidy Northern Ireland and representatives from the Rams Island Heritage Project to participate in a waterways protection event on Lough Neagh recently.
The group had the opportunity to learn more about lough ecology and rivercare before participating in an clean up of the historic island and an energetic session of Himalayan Balsam Bashing - Himalayan Balsam in an non native Invasive plant which smothers Lough and riverside habitats substantially increases the risk of riverbank erosion.
