Staff member assaulted in Larne nursing home burglary
Detectives in Larne are investigating the report of a burglary at a nursing home in the Main Street area on November 30.
It was reported that a staff member disturbed a male intruder in the nursing home office at around 6.30pm. The intruder had ransacked an office and was trying to open the safe when he was disturbed.
The female staff member sustained bruising as the man made off. He was described as around 30-year-old, 5’ 11”, wearing a beanie hat with motif, and a scarf covering his face.
