Gary Martin Murphy (26)from Limewood was also charged with disorderly behaviour.

He was fined a total of £300 with an additional £15 offender’s levy.

He came to police attention at 1.50am on 6 July at Commercial Road.

He was spotted with another male standing close to a wall at the Downshire Hotel.

Officers then saw him urinating against the wall and they asked him to desist from what he was doing. Murphy responded with foul language and when asked for his name he replied, “Do you want a real one or a fake one” before telling then to “f*** off.”

A solicitor said Murphy was very embarrassed by the incident.

“He doesn’t normally drink a lot but he had been at a stag party and has no real memory of what happened. He is deeply embarrassed and apologises.”
