Starburst Theatre School kicks off a new term

The kids ranging from four through to teenagers bounced enthusiastically through the door to be welcomed back by their teachers.

Last term the talented group showed off their talents by performing in a showcase of drama, singing and dance, including sketches from Morecambe and Wise and Fawlty Towers not to mention songs and dance from Jazz, Pop and Musicals.

To top this, the teachers were extremely proud when the ensemble group achieved an amazing high distinction of 93% in June with the London College of Music in their musical theatre examinations.

The founder Karen Elliot and teachers are extremely excited to be opening Starburst’s fifth School in Finaghy Methodist Church on Saturday, September 22,

This year students from all five schools will be performing Disney’s ‘Camp Rock the Musical’ in an end of year extravaganza at the New Theatre at Mosley Mill.
