LOBBYISTS battling to save the last pub in Islandmagee have been thrown a lifeline after planners agreed to defer an application that could see the historic building torn down.
Concerned residents launched a campaign to save the 200-year-old Millbay Inn after its owner lodged an application with the Planning Service to have the building demolished to make way for a residential development.
