‘Steamy window’ caused car crash in Magherafelt
A motorist involved in a two-vehicle car accident on the outskirts of Magherafelt, was fined a total of £390 at the local Magistrates Court.
Michael McKenna (37), of Ballyronan Road, Magherafelt, also received seven penalty points for driving without due care and attention, having no insurance, and no Vehicle Test Certificate on December 22 last.
A PPS lawyer said McKenna had told police at the scene that his car window had steamed-up and he had not seen the other vehicle.
