Stephanie, who runs her own salon in Lisburn city centre, won the Make-Up Specialist of the Year award, which was sponsored by Mii Cosmetics.

Reacting to her win, Stephanie said: “I feel totally overwhelmed. I did not expect to win at all but I’m thrilled. Thank you to everyone at Professional Beauty, the judges that voted for me and all the sponsors. I feel very honoured.”

As well as the title and a trophy, Stephanie’s win also means her business, Stephanie Burns Hair and Makeup, will be profiled in Professional Beauty magazine - the leading business title for the beauty, spa and nails industries.

According to the organisers of the awards, a win in one of the prestigious categories “marks a business out as a nationwide leader and provides unrivalled recognition that they are at the pinnacle of their profession.”
