Getting involved is easy; simply host a coffee morning, invite friends and family, and charge £2 per cup served to help local adults with terminal illnesses.

Sue Campbell explained the difference that the money raised can make. “Money raised from the event helps keep our service going, and this includes funding the nurses like me. I know during the time we spend with a patient, we make a difference. We are able to help them with medication, make them comfortable and explain to them what’s going on. We’re able to guide and support them whichever way we can. The most rewarding part of my job is when a patient says ‘I feel better now’.”

“Some of the smallest things can be the most crucial parts of my job. Listening to a family’s fears and concerns over a cup of coffee is so important.”
