Stole baby food and alcohol

Kevin Dale, Grove Hill, Banbridge, admitted stealing baby formula and alcohol worth £30 from Tescos, Castlewellan Road, on November 5 last year when he appeared at last Thursday’s court.

A barrister representing Dale said a pre-sentence report had been prepared for a court two weeks previously.

Dale had received a custodial sentence for motoring matters and this was now under appeal.

District Judge, Mr Peter King, adjourned sentencing until May 5 so that an addendum report could be obtained on the matter.
