Stolen car is set on fire in the Bell Steele Road area

Police in Lisburn are appealing for information after a report of a car on fire at the Bell Steele Road in the Dunmurry area in the early hours of Saturday June 28.

Shortly after 12.30am, it was reported that a silver Toyota Corolla crashed into a lamppost in the area.

The car is believed to have been stolen from residential premises at the Old Colin, Dunmurry area on Friday June 27.

Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service attended the scene and the car was extinguished. No one is believed to have been injured during the incident. Enquiries are continuing.
