Stolen tractor recovered

Police have recovered a high value stolen tractor in the Crumlin area.

As a result of a police investigation, the tractor was found shortly after midnight on Saturday, January 23 in the Tully Road area, Nutts Corner.

The blue Holland tractor that has a red tub feeder with an estimated value of £30,000 was stolen from the Seven Mile Straight area of Antrim sometime between 6pm on Sunday, January 17 and 9am on Monday, January 18.

Chief Inspector John Allen said: “I am delighted to be able to return this valuable piece of equipment to its rightful owner. However, our enquiries into this incident are still ongoing.

“I would ask anyone if they noticed any suspicious activity in the Seven Mile Straight or Tully Road area between Sunday, January 17 and the early hours of Saturday, January 23 to contact Police at Antrim on 101. Or, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them on 0800 555 111.”
