Stone breaks windscreen: Police

A Nissan Micra car, parked at the Ferry terminal in Ballycastle, was struck by a stone smashing the windscreen on Sunday, police have said.

A local resident reported seeing a group of youths walking up North Street the day before going out of town.

Some of the youths were seen to throw stones over the cliff in the direction of the ferry terminal. No descriptions are available to police, but anyone who can assist them with their enquiries is asked to contact 0845 600 8000 or Crimestoppers on freephone 0800 555 111.
