Stone throwing youths - appeal to parents
PARENTS of young children have been urged to check on their whereabouts and conduct following a number of stone-throwing incidents in Ballycastle in the past week.
According to Inspector Bryan Hume a number of youths were seen throwing stones at houses in the Drumawillan estate on Monday of last week and the following night just after 6 p .m. six youths were said to have been throwing stones at passing traffic on the Coleraine Road.
Inspector Hume commented: “We would ask parents to make sure they know where their children are and what they are getting up to.”
