Sainsbury’s Rushmere on hosted a Big Bike Ride for charity recently.

Staff at the store were supporting the two day event involving all Sainsbury stores in Northern Ireland cycling around visiting every other store in the province.

They were raising money in store for the charity Beating Brain Tumours, currently Sainsbury’s Craigavon chosen charity of the year.

A total of £1,500 was raised.

Every year customers and Sainsbury staff work together to support a local cause at the heart of their 
community.

Fundraising activities, like dressing up and running marathons, help the 
supermarket chain support some of the country’s most vulnerable people.
