Storey congratulates A-Level students

DUP Education Spokesman Mervyn Storey has congratulated all students in Northern Ireland who received A-Level results today.

The Chair of the Assembly’s Education Committee said, ‘Once again Northern Ireland students are amongst the very best in the United Kingdom. Despite attempts to undermine our education system in Northern Ireland this demonstrates the excellence that is achieved by our young people.

Many young people will now be able to pursue their chosen path, but for others there will be a time of uncertainty. I would reassure anyone who has not received the grades they were hoping for that there a range of options open to them. They should contact the CCEA helpline for advice on how they can proceed.

Whether today’s exam results lead on to university, further education or the world of work what is important now is the future and how our young people move forward.’
