DUP MLA Mervyn Storey has welcomed the PSNI seizure of cannabis along with the arrest of 34 year old man.

“This is a very welcome strike against the drug parasites who plague towns like Ballymoney. Further to the seizure we should welcome the fact that the plants have been taken out of circulation following the house search in the Kilraughts Road area.”

He said that the legal process needed to act swiftly to meet out justice to those willing to poison and exploit lives with drugs simply to get rich at the expense of the weak and foolish.
