Storey sadness over man (94) death

Commenting Mervyn Storey said: “The local community has been deeply saddened at the news of the fatality of 94 year old Mr Robert Robinson. He was very well known and respected in the area, having lived at the Drones for all his life.

“He would have often been seen walking on the road that sadly he was to lose his life on, following the fatal accident this evening.

“He will be greatly missed. Especially to all those who knew him in the local area and with all those associated with Kilraughts Reformed Presbyterian Church, were he was an elder.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with the family circle at this time of lose and also with the lady who was in the car involved in the accident.

“These are difficult circumstance for all involved to deal with.”
