Storm Gertrude uproots famous Dark Hedges trees

Storm Gertrude has hit north Antrim and uprooted some of the famous trees at the Dark Hedges.
FRIDAY 29TH JANUARY 2016. MCAULEY MULTIMEDIA. Hundreds of homes are without power and several roads throughout Northern Ireland have been closed due to the high winds caused by storm Gertrud. Winds gusting 70-80mph brought down 3 trees at the Dark Hedges, Armoy, a popular tourist attraction in the country with its recent fame from the TV series Game of Thrones.
