Stormont event to honour Cruse work
The event, which has been appropriately named ‘Rainbow Makers’, will focus on evaluating the positive developments of the Young Cruse Project over the last five years, made possible through a grant from the Big Lottery Fund Reaching Communities programme.
Cruse NI Director, Ms Anne Townsend said, “The vision of Cruse Bereavement Care is that all bereaved people have somewhere to turn when someone dies. This report highlights the impact that our vision has had, particularly on children and young people. Their voices need to be heard and listened to, and as a society we have a duty to ensure that resources are there to support children and young people.”

The event will be hosted by DUP MLA Brenda, who said, “The work of charities such as Cruse often goes unnoticed until a family or an individual is in need of somewhere to turn when a loved one dies.
“I am honoured to have the opportunity to work with Cruse.”
