The attractive site comprises 13 acres of amenities and playing fields which offer pupils a safe and motivating environment.

Pupils of all abilities, and all religious backgrounds, are educated according to ability and aptitude by a highly qualified and professionally trained teaching staff. Our pastoral care system, individual attention and, friendly, yet disciplined atmosphere, combine to produce well-rounded young adults able to face the challenges of the modern world with confidence and self discipline.

The school has a purpose built Learning Support Department where pupils with special needs are taught in a supportive environment and encouraged to become as fully involved in the life of the school as possible.

The school’s pursuit of excellence is reflected in its record in cricket both for girls and boys and hockey for girls. In this field the Cricket Academy, which has helped both boys and girls develop their sporting skills to international level, is particularly notable.

Open Evening will be an occasion when parents of Year 7 primary school pupils can talk to staff, pupils, and representative parents with experience of the school, as well as seeing the excellent facilities and examples of the work produced by pupils.
